Privacy Policy

Your privacy matters. Here is exactly what ITToolKit does, and does not do, with your data.

Last updated: April 2026

The Short Version

🔒

ITToolKit does not collect, store or transmit any data you enter into our tools. Every tool runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript. Nothing you type, paste or upload ever leaves your device. We have no database, no user accounts and no backend server processing your inputs.

What We Do Not Collect

Google Analytics

ITToolKit uses Google Analytics to collect anonymous, aggregated usage statistics. This helps us understand which tools are most popular and how the site is being used overall so we can improve it. Google Analytics collects information such as pages visited, time spent on pages, browser type, device type and approximate geographic location at country or region level. This data is aggregated and anonymised and cannot be used to identify individual users.

You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. For more information see the Google Privacy Policy.

Google AdSense

ITToolKit displays advertisements served by Google AdSense. Google AdSense may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site or other sites. You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. For more information visit the Google Advertising Technologies page.

Third-Party Libraries

Some tools load third-party JavaScript libraries from CDNs for specific functionality including SheetJS (XLSX) and jsPDF for the Age Calculator. These libraries run entirely in your browser and do not transmit your data anywhere. Cloudflare CDN may log standard HTTP request data as part of normal CDN operation.

Hosting

ITToolKit is hosted on Netlify. Netlify may collect standard web server logs including IP addresses, request timestamps and pages requested as part of normal hosting operations. See the Netlify Privacy Policy for details.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date at the top. If you have questions about this policy please visit our Contact page.

Local Browser Processing

Many ITToolKit tools perform calculations entirely inside the web browser. Examples include subnet calculations, VLSM planning, CIDR conversion, text formatting, timestamp conversion and generated output previews. This design reduces the need to transmit technical inputs such as internal IP ranges, hostnames, configuration examples or pasted text.

Some browser features may store temporary page state in memory while the page is open. Closing the tab or refreshing the page normally clears this temporary state unless a specific browser feature, extension or cache setting preserves form values.

Advertising, Cookies and Consent

Advertising services such as Google AdSense may use cookies, device identifiers or similar technologies depending on your region, browser settings and consent choices. These technologies are managed by the advertising provider, not by ITToolKit tool code.

You can manage personalised advertising through Google ad settings and your browser privacy controls. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings, although this may affect how some websites remember preferences.

Contact Forms and External Sites

When you choose to open an external contact form or visit OnlineComputerTechnician.com, you are leaving ITToolKit and using a separate website or service. Information you submit there is handled according to that service or website privacy policy.

Do not submit passwords, private keys, confidential client data, full network diagrams or sensitive business records through general contact forms. For troubleshooting, provide a summary and remove unnecessary personal or confidential details.
